Who serves dinner at 10.30 pm?

Well SPARC did last night and boy, I had a good time. It's not always that you can get so many people all together for a makan-get-together. Especially when most people are working and are all over the country? Dinner was at TGIF. Yes, it was a Friday. We were stuffed to the brim with food. Good food.

Like most Malaysians, we all shared out food around cause there was 4 different main courses and everybody was practically picking at each others food. Ah the joys of local culture! Before that we had Buffalo wings and some potatoe in the skin thingy which we all ate with relish. Main course only came at about 11.20 mind you :) And to complete the meal, dessert came- Chocolate Mud Pie! The chocolate syrup nearly killed me. Guilty sigh. All nicely washed down with ice lemon tea. Free refills!

By the time we finished eating and finished chatting and asking each other about work and all, it was already 1am. Yawn. Not bad I must say.

Getting more things to do at work now. Wonder why. Maybe cause it's my last 2 weeks here. Hah!

I dreamt I was trying to catch a hen, and when I was very close to doing so, it stopped dead in it’s tracks and laid a giant egg. Curious, I picked up the egg, and for some reason, I decided to be a good samaritan and try to hatch it on my own. But lo and behold, the egg cracks accidentally [I swear it’s not my fault! :P] and there are multiple egg yolks in it.

What does it all mean?!

Why are some people just not able to relax and quit being so uptight? Just because I was 5 minutes late for my ushering duty, this woman scolded me and gave me the look. Grr. They DID tell me to get there by 7.30. Wasn't my fault they decided to open door earlier than planned. Double grr.
Anyways, got to play around with this small cool looking green flashlight (half out of battery which I had to hit it to get it working) and usher people to their seats, though most of them already knew where they were supposed to sit. This made my job much easier. Nyahahaha.
Saw some cool dances and stunts by this small boy [I swear he's a gymnast of some sort!! O_o] and everyone was going WOW and OOH and AAH. You get my point. Most of the dances were so-so, some nice ones and painful ones. I DO think however, the sound system of the hall wasn't as good as it should be cause from where I was, it was a bit muffled. Ah well, the PJ Civic Centre has been around for donkey years. Maybe I should describe it as a giant turtle.... or maybe a dinosaur......

Warning of the day: Bring your thickest jacket or coat when watching movies at TGV KLCC. Brrrrrrrr.............

What the Box has been up to:

1. Been working the usual work. [not much that is]
2. Going back and forth to campus for dance practice.
3. Eating at least 3 main meals a day, but not gaining any weight, I don't know why [it's not a good thing to be too skinny, trust me]
4. Watching alot of movies [Final Fantasy being the latest]
5. Not getting enough sleep and have been really tired [reason being point 3, plus the necessary household responsiblities]
6. Eating alot of apam balik cos there's this realy nice stall near my work place- all the crunchy peanuts and jagung you want! Mmmm.......
7. Not checking emails and updating this thing as often as I would like.
8. Sleep time! Gudten natcht!

Stuffed myself full with Thai food in Sungai Buloh just now [only my dad knows all these weird places to find food, but heck, it's goooood]. Don't think I'll be eating for the next few days..... well, okay,maybe I'll skip breakfast tomorrow. Hahaha :P

Anyways, its been a hectic week. Definitely not getting enough sleep. Argh. Suffering from sleep deficiency syndrome. Dying. Suffering. Going crazzzzzzzzyyyyyyyy. Coocoo. Gila. Nuts. Crackers. Lunatic. Mumbo jumbo. Siao.

Went for the Cleo/Ralph Lauren party launch in Flux on Thursday. Didn't want to go, but my supervisor made me go though I was already half dead. Not bad a night though I would have enjoyed it more if I werent so damned tired [I was there from 3.30pm til 11pm]. But the freebies and drinks [Limonya 100% Russian Vodka mixed with lime juice] was enough to make me happier that night. Hehehe... aren't I cheap? :P Sucker for free stuff.

Watched Final Fantasy last night. Impressive 3D. Though the voice acting was so-so, I don't wanna complain too much cos I won't be able to do anything like in a million years, even with all the SGI's I want. :) Read KingBooya's and Sotong's blog for more in depth commentry.

Anyways, tis a Wednesday and the week is half over!! [mad jumping with hands high in the air commences] Had lunch with dear old ex-MMU friend Justin today. The UPM people are on holiday this week, so there he was hanging around when he remembered that I was in the Uptown vicinity. In case any of you are wondering, his hair is short [but not too short] and he’s still as fair as ever and more than a lot of us. XD [Justin, if you are reading this, don’t kill me :P]

Anyhoose [learnt that from my NZ friend] can’t wait for Final Fantasy this weekend. Seems like EVERYONE wants to watch it thought alof of people don't even know that it's a computer game! I reaaalllllly hope the high expectations we have of it won’t spoil it. *crossing fingers*touching wood*picking teeth*

WARGH! What a busy week! Haven't had the time [or the energy] to come online and update my blogger. But, here I am now so 3 cheers for me!! :)

The week has been okay- went to watch Shrek [darn funnnnny], work was the usual, and was going back and forth to campus for BK [no, not Burger King for those hungry ppl out there, it's Busted Kneecaps!!!] meetings and practices.. and if you are wondering why, well, it's because CMC has requested us to perform for its CMC orientation-open-day week that's in the first week of August. And no, we won't be doing Rollin' again [I said NO!!] Reason being that 2 members has dropped out [if you wanna know why, it's a whole long story and I might not want to tell you anyways :P] and that most ppl are not free as it is. Got a few new junior members to torture and right now, we are planning something realllllly different and original [think funked-up traditional]. Looking foward to it, and now I have something other than go home and bore myself to death. :) If any of y'all have finished work by then, come on over and support us! [Self promotion at work here.. muahahahhaha!]

Right, the morning has passed by quite quickly today which is a very good sign- thanks to the gazillion women mags I’ve gone through and memorised already. ^.^ My supervisors aren’t around [as usual] so I’ve been left to pick up the occasional calls from readers and people coming to collect prizes.
This is the soul reason of my existence in the office. For existentialism says…….. it’s time for lunch! Laters...... :P

ANYWAYS, watched Evolution and man, I haven't laughed so hard at the cinema in a long time. It's a movie that doesn't take itself seriously at all. Watch out for what David Duchovny's character says about the 'government people' and beware the blade-wielding insect. Your colon might be in for a rude shock. XD And the bit about Head and Shoulders. Wahahaha.Lotsa cool aliens and funny lines. MUCH better than Tomb Raider. I like!

Going for a luncheon at Nilai later (yesh!) and that's practically my plans for the day. Spent most of my weekend tryin to NOT watch the vcd's that my parents bought cause I'd rather enjoy them at the cinema- for shows like Shrek and Evolution. To watch 'em on vcd is blashemy I tell ye! Ish ish..... :)
