Today's presentation went quite well. A record breaking half an hour!! Anyway, the fact that the lecturers were getting excited about where to get the weirdest-rarest-best food in Malaysia amused me alot.

"Tambah 3 ekor tikus dalam tempayan... kalau nak sedap lagi, tambah 2 ekor lipas...."

Hahahaha.... don't ask... X-D

Aaah.. the abundance of interesting blogs this weekend.. :D

"Went mad shopping as only guys can do.... even had a theory on how to create chocolate chip cookies in the microwave. The theory will be tested tonight... wish luck." ~KingBooya

Where's the cookies? I waaaaaant! :P~~ Haven't made cookies in a while since my oven was taken for repair and back. Do you still want recipes? I can lend you a book...

"BooyaKing says he's going to pretend to be Colin Powell and sing the Day-O Taliban song for the Malam Sekuntum Mawar dinner. We've gotta get this on video!" ~Clara

OK, where's the cam? Can we go? XD And who has the recording of him singing the Eva song? Nyahahaha..

"I just feel like KILLING SOMEONE right now. I just can't understand; WHY CAN'T PEOPLE BE CLEAR ON WHAT THEY BLOODY WANT AND STOP WASTING OUR TIME?!!
I cried a bit just now, and I think I will again. I just feel really sick that I had to waste my time." ~Aimo

Yoo... GET WELL SOON! Let the lecturers be.. can't believe I waited for TWO #$Q%@% days to do my presentation!! Bluergh... good luck on Tuesday babe! Jom lepak..

"I have just recently discovered that there are just so many types of drapes! Wow! Talk about learning something new everyday! XP Ever heard of a 'riser'? 'Rostra'? 'Apple boxes'? 'Threads'?!" ~Saw

Hmm... on your way to becoming a house-husband I see... hehehhee.... :P

Time is precious. Obviously the M.I lecturers don't understand that.

Sigh.

Note: Starting ballet classes next month. Yahoo!!

An interesting car sticker:

" Don't speed. Funerals are expensive. "

X-P

The days seem to get quieter... and I'm running out of food! Haha.. "But you live at home!" you say. Well, sometimes, I just miss the good old days of maggi mee, cheap nasi goreng and instant porridge in a cup. There ain't no junkfood here at home!! :P
People have been commenting that I'm getting skinnier (even Mdm. Ma Lee who passed by me said so, while I was cleaning my glasses and couldn't really see!). I definitely have NO explanation for this... nopes, not excercising much, eating all 3 main meals and NO, I'm NOT on a diet. Never have, and never will. I just lay off on anything sweeter than sugar. Yes, there's such a thing and it's definitely not good for anyone.

Sugar kills!! Muahahaha....

Referring to both Kalamari and Clara's blog:

We should have just used the whole Audio Warfare as an excuse to start a war in MMU! Make 'em beg for mercy!!

Ok... who hasnt donated their $5 to the bomb fund? :P

Yesterday, Wednesday the 17th of October shall stand out in my mind forever. Mighty interesting day I might say...

There I was, sleeping soundly.. dreaming of a bunch of classmates and I hijacking a flying MMU bus from campus [yes.. flying...] when I was abruptly woken up by my dad who asked where his handphone was. Very sleepily I told him where I had put it the night before [mind you, it was not even 8am yet!] in a safe place, when he went on to tell me that it wasnt there anymore cos it was stolen!! And from inside the house!

Apparently someone came into my house, [the garden area] got a big fishing net from somewhere [stolen probably], stuck it through one of my window grills [the window lock was broken], got another stick from the back of my house and literally fished my dad's handphone from off the table! [If you are wondering where the table was, it was in the room with my computer downstairs] The best thing was, this thief took my moccassins [!!!] and a rake and then proceeded on to my neighbours house. There this thief ransacked through the cars [cos my neighbours didnt lock 2 out of their 3 cars] but only managed to get some loose change. The weird thing was, the rake was left hanging on the wall between both my house and the neighbours, and my [beloved] moccassins was left on the wall near the neighbours house gate!

Wargh! My shoes!! My old stinky pair of shoes! What was weird was that the thief didnt take my dad's sneakers or my brothers [good] Scholl sandals. Hmm.... makes one wonder... Plus, if this thief knew, he would have kidnapped my dog, cos the dog itself is worth at least a few hundred! :P Phew! All the locks are gonna be locked and anything worth anything is gonna be far far... from the windows.

On a lighter note, the Audio Warfare last night was great. I'm half deaf right now. Maybe its becos of my cold. Ah well. Most of the bands were good [some were toooooo loud and toooooo soft] and Naked Breed rocked the house! Wondering why the sound system suddenly sounded so good when they went on stage. Hahah. I thought the lead singer looked like a smaller version of Kenneth :P Read Kalamari's description of it for more details...

Anyway, congrats to Caput Draconis and Xoil... good show! Rock on........

An Introduction to Chinese Cuisine

‘Rice is affected by the weather or turned (a man) must not eat, nor fish that is not sound, not meat that is high. He must not eat anything discolored or that smells bad. He must not eat what is overcooked, not what is undercooked, nor anything that is out of season. He must not eat what has been crookedly cut, nor any dish that lacks its proper seasoning. The meat that he eats must at the very most not be enough to make his breath smell of meat rather than of rice. As regards wine, no limit is laid down; but he must not be disorderly’.

Flu. Flu. Flu. Flu. Flu. Flu. Flu. Flu. Flu.

It's been a long and weary weekend. Not getting enough sleep plus the stress from not knowing what topic to do for assignments [after countless changes] in the FOURTH week from a total of EIGHT weeks is getting to me. Living at home, housework and Unidentified /Unwanted Fickle Objects a.k.a UFO's does not help the situation either.

But will I let this get to me? Will I succumb to the indignities of life? Never!!!

How and why you ask? Because I am strong and I will survive. Cos I have Superman here by my side. ;-)

I hate motocyclists!! Ok.. I mean.. I hate the ones who try to kill themselves by swerving in and out of nowhere and then blame the poor car driver that hits them.

Makes the ad on radio sound SO ironic... "Look out for the motorcyclists around you when you are driving..." I think it goes something like that. Doesn't help that it was night time either.... the idiot had NO headlights and wore black... >.<

Ack. Choke. Gasp. Thank goodness I didn't hit the %^#@$#@# fella.

Excerpt from KingBooya's blog:

"...Adults acting worse than kids..... good grief. I don't care what people say, I will not call myself an adult. It's pretty much a stupid moniker to live up for when you know you're not."

Sigh... can I not grow up?

Yesterday was one tiring day. Especially when you are supposedly the official camera wo-man to your sister's graduation. Oooargh!

Screaming, shouting people were EVERYWHERE! Some of them were flying up inthe air too! Scaarrry.... And being surrounded by thousands of excited aliens in blue robes and square hats wasn't my idea of great fun :P
Plus the fact that there were millions of flower bouquets all around... roses, lilies, carnations, gerberas, paper ones, plastics ones (those cheapskates!) all over the place. Most of them were dying in the heat. What a waste.
Came back home at 4pm and slept for the next 3 hours.

Phew... what a day.

ps: I like white lilies. *hint hint*

Of Pins and More Pins...
==================

Things I learnt while helping to fix my sister's graduating robe:

It sucks. Big time!

Sure, it looks traditional and cool and all... but it's just SO un-user friendly.
(The RM 375 price tag doesn't help my impression of it either O_o )

Anyways, HAPPY GRADUATION SIS!! No more exams, no more exams....!

Excerpt from KingBooya's blog:

"Two: Bake a cake.
Result: One banana-flavored pandan cake topped with cherries. Wouldn't have been possible if we haven't found a microwave-based cake pan. Heh, we finished the cake within fifteen minutes after it was out of the oven. Not bad for a first try.
Experiment status..........success!!!!
Follow-up: Harass Chun Lynn for cake and cookie recipes.
"

So... will that be cash or credit? :P
