Dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never get hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, Live like it's heaven on earth, And speak from the heart to be heard. ~ William W. Purkey

Got myself some new & utterly depressing semi-autobiographical books to read over the CNY hols:

- The Hundred Secret Senses by Amy Tan
- Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan
- Memoirs of a Geisha by Athur Golden

Yay!

Its one of those days in your life that you'll never forget...

Sunday was the day I witnessed my dog chewing up a rat.

Squeak squeak.
Bite bite.
Squeak squeak squeak.
Bite bite.
Squeak squeak.
Bite bite bite.
Bite bite.
CRUNCH.

Aggghhhhhhhhhh!! o__O

Bonus is out and a pay increment for me & my colleagues in this new year.

No promotions yet, but I'm satisfied so far.

Spring cleaning can actually be fun. No, it's not the dust & the possibility of finding dead things in dark corners that excite me, but it's the discovering of old momentos & juvenile treasures that brings tears to my eyes... *sniffs sliced onion*

Among some stuff I discovered:
- an essay on "The Human Perception of Beauty" from my pre-university days
- countless unfinished ribbon-string-keychain thingys that was way hip in the early 90's
- old art pieces from primary school
- an autograph book from Standard 2!
- pictures of myself in my youth (it aint a pretty sight)
- a screenplay of a 'politically correct' Snow White (think: women in tights, men in skirts)
- old birthday cards
- really old correspondence dating from 1990
- a large pile of old RM1 notes (wonder how much they'd be worth in the future?)

Hmm... looks like I wont be throwing much away... :)

Capoeira Workshop- Friday, 2nd January 2004

* The band revving up the workshop roda (pronounced "hoda")
* Making a move called "kedajihin"... cant remember how it's spelled :P

* Making another move... into a cartwheel I believe.
* Kacang pol! It's a Middle Eastern dish. Very delicious! We had this after the workshop.

Group photo! :)

Check out Booya's blog for more pics. Yeehaar. For those of you who missed it... well... too bad! :P :P

Complete sincerity: You believe in being straightforward with others, and you expect the same from them. People would consider you a good listener, and one who is calm and mostly serious.

I'd like to think of myself as mostly calm, but mostly serious? Hmmm...

Anyways, I'm going for a capoeira workshop tonight. Excelleeent...! I hope Booya doesn't spread his germs too far. Heh :b
