Dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never get hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, Live like it's heaven on earth, And speak from the heart to be heard. ~ William W. Purkey

What a fantastic weekend.

I can't quite believe it has ended! The Grupo Bantus Capoeira Malaysia Festival has finally ended, but it's still very fresh in my heart. It was a blast celebrating my birthday which was during Noite Brasileira celebrations at qBa, Westin Hotel on Saturday. It's really great to have good friends to celebrate with, as you as grow old older & wiser! :)

The 30 or so international guests from Brazil, Australia, Japan, Thailand, China and Singapore made logistics planning a real challenge, but looks like everything turned out alright in the end ;) Muito muito obrigado to everyone who came - I have been truly inspired and hope that GBC Malaysia will have our very own percussion team and samba-butt-shaking-girl dance troupe by next year ;)

And in reply to Cicak's post: Yes! Yes! Yes! Green cords next year!

Note: Any moneytary donations in aid of sending me to Brazil next year is warmly welcomed! You will be rewarded with a big, big hug >;)
