Frustrated

I hate being a pansy ass.

To put things straight: The house is Subang is really, REALLY cramped right now and I feel no privacy whatsoever. Noise travels everywhere, so closing the door doesn't really help. My favourite hang out place - the kitchen, is now part of my living room & it isn't quiet anymore. Don't really look forward to going 'home' anymore.

I know I should be thankful that I even have a roof over my head. But seriously, houses like mine in Subang isn't meant for 5 adults and all their furniture! The only good thing about living here is that getting to work only takes 10 minutes.

Argh.

I. NEED. SPACE.

If you didn't know already, I moved to USJ 3 in Subang Jaya few weekends back on a temporary basis til my house renovations gets done... hopefully in the next 2 months or so :(

We had THREE freakin' lorry loads of furniture to move. Not only was it a test of our endurance, we had to put up with an idiot neighbour in Subang who yelled at the moving people for disturbing his sleep that morning (it was already 10am). And because of that, the a$$ didn't want to move his car which was parked partially in front of my house gate! WTF?! Does he want to test his measly Proton Saga against a 2-ton lorry?

Spent a total of 10 hours cleaning, moving and shifting stuff. Don't wanna imagine having to move back home later o_O

Sweating it out at the X Games

Yes, as the title implies, my (last last) Saturday afternoon was spent walking about Sunway Lagoon with a couple of friends at the Asian X Games. It was my first time watching these games live and I must say, I'm impressed. Especially for someone like me who has a (somewhat) morbid fear of heights. Plummeting down the "half-pipe" or cruising along a metal railing on roller-blades doing the "vert" is something I've tried and failed at miserably :P Hey, at least I learnt some new words over the weekend! Haha.

In between checking out half-naked guys and underaged girls in bikinis, my friends & I managed to take time off to snap a photo of ourselves--> Sandie, Sophie & me...

The kitchen.

To put it simply, the back half of my house (upstairs & downstairs) is being extended by around.... 12 feet? There's dust, bits of stones, mud, cement and concrete and EVERYWHERE and I spend most of my free time cleaning up. My mum is also in a funk cause dust and dirt infuriate her to no end. Things would've been so much easier if we were to move to a new house (e.g. The Salameanders) but after 21 years living in the house, it seems like too much of a waste to give it up.

Bad news is, we will still need to move out temporarily to USJ 3 in Subang Jaya when work on the rooms upstairs and toilets start soon. I've been procrastinating packing my stuff cos I'm just so lazy! There seems to be too many things to move! :(

Sigh... however, it is the thought of fresh, new toilets that motivate me to tolerate the inconvenience of renovations. Mmm... yes.... new toilets...
