Dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never get hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, Live like it's heaven on earth, And speak from the heart to be heard. ~ William W. Purkey

B-A-N-A-N-A

Damn. I left my twin bananas in the office gym cause I followed my colleagues in there to weigh themselves after lunch. ("Twin" because its like siamese twins y'know? 2 bananas stuck together and all that) They say you'll have a higher chance of bearing twins / triplets / etc. if you eat it.

Anyway.

A funny incident happened last Friday.

I announced to my colleagues that we should go to Jalan Gasing to have banana leaf rice at Sri Paandi. Lo and behold, I was met with blank stares. "Banana leaf rice? What's that?" (cue corny "I don't belive they don't know what banana leaf rice is!" music emitting from my brain)

It's amazing sometimes how much you can or don't know. I mean, its just banana leaf rice!

I told them its an Indian vegetarian meal on a (tada!) banana leaf, eaten with curry and/or meat (except beef) and an assortment of crunchy stuff like papadam & dried salted chilis.

I was still met with some blank stares.

Anyway, my colleagues were finally enlightened (I hope) when we got to the place, with one of them remarking "Eh, I thought it was a air-cond restaurant".

Err...

It goes to show that you cannot assume how much one person knows, or doesn't know. Correct?

We are clever one way and stupid another.

Haha. Now that should be my personal motto ;)

How time flies!

Indeed. It has been 20 years since the birth of my brother. Did I make a mistake in wishing for my mum to have a baby boy when I was six? Hahahaaaaa. I'm bad :P

Anyways,

Happy 20th Birthday

to my brother, Cabecao (Big Head) or Mr-I-love-computer-games. I hope you are making full use of your birthday present!

:)
