Dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never get hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, Live like it's heaven on earth, And speak from the heart to be heard. ~ William W. Purkey

Unbelievable!

Two &%$#@ idiots on a motorbike tried to snatch my handbag last night!!!

It was after dinner in Puchong with my colleagues and we were walking back to our cars. I took necessary percautions by holding my handbag towards the inside lane. My colleague called out suddenly, asking us to check the model of a particular car parked there, so I turned back halfway when suddenly, I spied a motorbike coming a bit close from my left side (you sorta know when someone's looking at you... an instinct?) when I suddenly felt a hard yank on my right side as the motorbike passed behind me.

First thing that went through my mind was "SHIT!!"

Before I knew it, I was down on the road with my handbag still in my hands. I looked up and stared at the idiot who tried to snatch my bag and he looked right back. %$#%& !

And my colleagues didn't even notice what had happened until one of them turned around and saw me on the ground.

Maaaaannnn... You never think something like this could happen to you. I was in total shock, but I'm OK. Only scrapes on my wrist and slight friction burns on my waist. It was mostly shock. And all this happened in less than 20 seconds I think!

... I'm really, REALLY pissed off right now.

Mystery solved

Referring to below post, my friend Sheila who works in NST had a hand in putting up my blog pic for this article.

And I thought, maybe, just maybe, my blog was really interesting enough to be featured in a local English daily.

Bwaahahahahhahahaaaaa...!

How random is this?

After lunch today with Daniel, Jacq & Santiago at KLCC, fellow blogger buddy, Hilmy sms-ed me and said "Your blog is in NST, pg 6, Prime News"

I was like "What the...?!"

The article only posted a screen cap of my blog. And the picture isn't even featured online. And they don't even mention my blog url. Evil people :P Weird thing is, I've only just updated my blog after, what, a month or more of inactivity?

Weird :P

Anyway, you can check out the article "A blog to share their secret thoughts"... although I don't consider the things I write about as secrets. Plus I'm definitely not a youth. It's just a really nifty way for me to spread info thats all :)

Oh yes, its a public holiday for Selangor-ians today and guess where I am?

Going green!

Getting belted

The Bantus Capoeira Festival 2006 (which actually ended like 2 weekends ago) was a blast. What made it better was that I took leave and got to enjoy the whole week of capoeira activities without having to worry bout work... well, not really, since my colleague kept calling me non-stop every morning :P

This year's festivities were a bit more low key compared to last year but it was still a blast!

This is a picture of me being tripped by Gringo during the batizado (grading ceremony). Its not as serious as it looks!

Whoops!

Samba music were excellent this year, solely cause we performed it ourselves! (with help from the Brazil crew of course)

Synchronised drummers?

I didn't manage to take any photos this year cos my cam was kidnapped by my parents to Hanoi, so check out these photos taken by fellow capoeiristas enthusiats Desriel and Andrew.

Most importantly, I got upgraded to my 2nd belt - the green cord. Am very happy, but this means more reponsibilities within the group. Must not be complacent - as Rafael says "Your belt is only there to hold your pants up". Well said!

Muito obrigada to everyone who helped and supported our event especially to Maison, KL PAC & 1 Utama. Much appreciated :)
