What the...?

Today I got word from my colleague that a certain (supposed to be retired by now) senior manager was pissed at me for not getting one article done for the company newsletter. He said he didn't understand why it took me so long to get it done. He also said that he knew I was busy, but I should make the effort to stay back and get it done or do it over the weekend / holidays.

Lucky for me, my colleague had the sense to tell him that I have classes after work and commitments during weekends. I think she was just being nice. She should've just told him I had a LIFE! Hah!

It's ok old man. I forgive you... Only because you are much older than me and I doubt your ways will change anyway :P

It's the 4th day of Chinese New Year celebrations and here I am, back at work.

Waking up at 7am this morning was absolute torture. But yes, I made it to work in less than 15 minutes. Traffic miracle for the locals during the holiday season? :)

CNY has been (as always), OK. Lots of rain, eating, sleeping, tv and lazing sessions over the 5 days of holiday. Haven't gotten much ang pows this year, mostly due to the fact that key family members aren't around and/or think I'm too old to be getting anymore ang pows.

(Boo!! I resent that notion!)

Eh hem. Anyway.

Plans for a new job have been put into motion. It has much to do with recent appraisals, bonus and increments, but I won't say too much cause who knows who's reading this blog?

Boat ride & island hopping around Phi Phi with a bunch of Swedes for 5 over hours. I'm trying my best not to look sea sick in this shot. Urgh. Snorkeling for the first time scared me. The ocean seemed overwhelming!
