Doing something out of the ordinary
I did something over the weekend which was quite unexpected. Many of you who know me, knows for a fact that I don't speak very much Chinese. And, I definitely don't listen to chinese songs very much... at least, not willingly.
And so, last Sunday night, thanks to Desriel's friend Stephanie, I got free tickets to watch the Kuala Lumpur Live & Loud 2007 - Chinese All Stars concert at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Park.
Although the concert started at 4pm, we only got there at 8pm after trying very hard to find a parking spot. In the end, we parked at Sri Hartamas and cabbed to the park (lines of cars were parked on the main road highway!)
Listening to songs you don't understand can be quite deary. Famous Chinese singers such as Fish Leong, Guang Liang Ping Guan made a not-so-memorable appearance.
And then.
Famous Taiwanese native, A-Mei (Zhang Hui Mei) came on and she totally ROCKED! Damn, she

It's time to get new music cds... or download new songs? >:)

Island Adventures
It was a blissful 6 day adventure on the islands of Ko Samui and Ko Phangan. We spent our time mostly eating, sleeping, swimming, suntanning and shopping. And more eating. Haha. BEST!
Hanging out at Solo Bar. Damn happening music. Waaaaay better than what I've heard here in KL.
On the ferry to Ko Phangan. Thank god for sea sickness pills.
One of the many beaches on Ko Phangan.
Our rented scooters. Most essential modes of transport on the islands.
Hanging out at a waterfall. Sejuk!
What posers (Oh, how I love camera self-timers!)
Babes on the beach :)
What a great holiday! :)

Taking a break
In case you are wondering why I've disappeared from general public view, please let it be known that I'm taking a self-declared semi-holiday-break from classes and all hardcore activities. Just so tired, y' know?
Have a good weekend y'all.
