Bantus Capoeira Malaysia's 5th Annual Batizado

Hi peeps! It's that time of year again! Brasil Fest 2008 is here and it's going to be BIGGER and BETTER than ever!

This year we will are going to have a huge contingent of capoeiristas and students from overseas taking part in our event. There'll be capoeira workshops, Malaysia's first capoeira championship, parties, street shows, samba, a Brazilian themed art & photography exhibition and lots of fun fun fun!

Capoeira Rhythm and Music Workshops with Mestre Pintor (10th Nov 2008)
Time: 9:15pm - 10:00pm

Samba Workshops with Fernanda and Rodrigo (11th Nov 2008)

Talk on Nutrition and Weight Training (12th Nov 2008)
Time: 9:15pm - 9:55pm

Talk on Injury Prevention and Training Concepts (13th Nov 2008)
Time: 9:15pm - 9:55pm

1st Grupo Bantus Capoeira Malaysia Championship (15th Nov 2008)
Venue: Academia Bantus Capoeira Malaysia, Damansara Jaya
Time: 12:00n - 5:00pm

Noite Brasileira - PARTY! (15th Nov 2008)
Venue: Cloth & Clef, Jalan Ceylon, KL (opposite Bom Brasil, near Frangipani's)
Time: 9:00pm - late

There'll be capoeira performances, bossanova music, samba music (and samba girls) & maculele!

5th Annual GBCM Batizado e Troca de Cordas - Grading Ceremony (16th Nov 2008)
Venue: Pavillion Shopping Center, KL (open area outside)
Time: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
